Among the many talents of our Athletic Director, Bobbi Moran, one that you may not know is that she is a self proclaimed amazing cook. Bobbi's passion for sports comes from her Irish father, while her mastery in the kitchen comes from her Italian/Sicilian mother. The winner of this desirable item will be treated to a dinner party for 8 guests in their own home. This opportunity to discuss athletics with Bobbi as she prepares your meal is sure to be both enlightening and delicious. Bobbi will provide the food and will cook a mouthwatering meal, complete with appetizer, main course and dessert for you and your guests. Are you a fan of the American Ninja Warrior show? Do you like challenging yourself physically? Do you like to have fun? Mrs. Benthien and Ms. Dunne will set up the KPS Dragon Warrior course for one lucky winner presently in grade 1-5 and up to 19 of her friends. You will have 1 ½ hours to practice and challenge each other to see who can go the fastest and the farthest on the course without making a mistake! Who will win the bragging rights to being The KPS Dragon Warrior of the Year!
Winning family may provide their own refreshments for this exciting afternoon. Winner and guests must be KPS students in Grade K-5. Dates to be mutually agreed upon. Movie Night with Mrs. Benthien and Mrs. Tracy.
What could be better than pajamas and a movie with friends? A lucky girl, in grades K-5, and up to 18 of her school friends will watch a movie and enjoy special treats while wearing their pajamas at school in Hauser Hall. Movie selection approved and provided by you and snacks approved by you but provided by Mrs. Tracy and Mrs. Benthien.
Winner and guests must be KPS students in Grade K-5. The event will take place in Hauser Hall in the evening on June 6, 10 or June 11, from 6:30-8:15 p.m.
Join Mrs. Tracy for an afternoon of robotics adventures. Your daughter and up to 7 of her friends will create and explore with our robotic friends Dash and Dot in the PS Tech Lab.
This robotics adventure is open to students in grades K-5 and will be held for one hour after school on a mutually agreed upon date in May or June 2019. Snacks will be provided.
Join the birthday fun and help Mrs. Afir present birthday books at morning meeting. The student will also receive a $25 gift card to use at Barnes and Noble bookstore.

Mrs. Barbosa's Dance Concert Assistant #1
The winning girl (grade 2-5) will be Mrs. Barbosa's assistant at the Spring Dance Concert on Thursday, May 30, 2019. She will receive a "Backstage Assistant" shirt to wear and will introduce dances at the performance. Following the performance, she will even be presented with a bouquet of flowers in recognition of a job well done!

Mrs. Barbosa's Dance Concert Assistant #2
Spend the afternoon with Senora Gragg, Senora Casas, and Monsieur Lutz, to design and paint your very own international-inspired piggy bank. Perhaps a Monet's sunflowers-inspired piggy or a Día de los Muertos-inspired piggy? We'll offer several suggestions and all the supplies you'll need. We'll also bring some of our favorite treats from the places where our languages are spoken. And maybe even a small donation of euros or pesos to add to your bank!
Please coordinate with teachers an afternoon when your child is available in May. This is for one student and 7 of her friends (8 students total.) KPS students in grades 1-5 only.
Working in the WonderLab with Mrs. Emery
This FANTASTIC basket is filled with activities: wooden monarch butterfly puzzles, spring terrariums, animal string art, and unicorn eggs to explore in the WonderLab. You and five friends are invited to craft and create in the WonderLab with Mrs. Emery one spring day after school 3-4:30pm. A delicious and fun snack will also be provided. Please contact Mrs. Emery to arrange your WonderLab treat.

Your daughter's class of mothers and daughters will spend an afternoon with Mrs. Benthien and Ms. Dunne playing your child's favorite Primary School games in the Field House (your child will choose the games prior to the event). Snacks and drinks included.

Camp out in the science room With Mrs. Jones-Wentz, Mrs. Snyder, and Ms. Hrebin! Your daughter and five friends are invited to a STEAM camp-out in the Primary School Science Room! Drop off will be on a Friday evening right after dinner time. We will create a very special dessert in the Primary School kitchen. Afterward, the girls will hike around campus with their nature-loving teachers, and sit outside under the stars telling stories.These lucky participants will have the opportunity to observe our KPS nighttime wildlife and spend time with the science room animals before snoozing the night away. In the morning, we will make a fabulous breakfast with our hungry campers prior to pick-up.

Feeling dramatic? Join Mrs. Lesnik for an afternoon of after-school theater fun! Grab a group of your KPS classmates and get ready to use your imagination while we play your favorite theater games and learn some new ones, too! All games and acting exercises will cater to the winner's age/theater skill level.
Date to be mutually determined in the spring of 2019. Mrs. Lesnik can accommodate up to 17 girls. Grades 2-5 only, please.
It's time to decorate our art room chairs. Inspired by the works of master artists, your daughter and two of her Kent Place friends will spend an afternoon in the art studio painting expressive images on our art room seats. We will photograph each artist with her creation so that she can take a bit of her experience home with her.

Ms James' Yoga and Mindfulness for Moms
Join Miss Molly James as she leads a private hour-long yoga session for you and up to nine friends. Experience a Tibetan singing bowl. Practice various breathing techniques. Create some affirmations. Zen out with your friends.

Mother's Day Surprise with Miss James
Dads, wondering what the kids are going to get Mom for Mother's Day? How about a work of art? Eight lucky girls (dads can join in if they want to create as well) will create a one-of-a-kind art piece with Miss James' guidance!
Creating will happen on a mutually agreed upon date between now and Mother's Day. Mother's Day is May 12, 2019 so this has to happen fast! Open to Current KPS families only.
One lucky Primary School girl will work with J.P. Healy to create a lunch menu. The winner will also receive a personalized chef's jacket. Date to be mutually agreed upon between September and December 2019.This offering open to current KPS Primary School students only.
Your daughter and five of her Kent Place friends will join Mrs. Van Ry and Mrs. Jones-Wentz on a one-of-a-kind hike to release our baby trout in the Green Brook below Seeley's Pond in the Watchung Reservation. The girls will meet the teachers at Kent Place School one Saturday morning in May or June to pack up the trout in a cooler. Once at the destination, they will engage in water ecology activities and water testing prior to releasing the trout. After the release, they will go on a short nature hike and have a snack.
Winner is responsible for transportation to KPS and to/from Seeley's Pond. This will be a morning trip (approximately 9 a.m to 12 p.m) but exact times to be arranged by winner. Date to be mutually agreed upon in May or June. Open to Current KPS students only.
You and seven KPS friends are invited to a STEM garden party with Mrs. Jones-Wentz and Mrs. Van Ry! Join your science teachers for a magical building time in the garden. We plan on designing and constructing some new elements for the garden and the natural area outside the science room. We'll also engineer some delicious fresh snacks and (weather permitting) enjoy a tea party by the garden.

Your daughter and a guest will join Dr. Mirabal and "On Site: Adventures in the Great Wide Somewhere" web series creator, producer and host Ana Mirabal for high tea at Cozy Cupboard in Morristown. There the girls will be the first to learn all about the magical adventures of the making of this not-yet-released series that explores the history and culture across 10 countries that inspired the stories of some of Disney's most famous princesses.

Go retro and enjoy some old-fashioned fun! You and five friends will join Mrs. Mascioli and Mrs. Snyder after school to make yummy ice cream sundaes. After you satisfy your sweet tooth, we'll pass out the Bingo cards and start spinning! Get ready to mark the Free Spot in your quest to get five in a row! Who will be the first to shout, "BINGO!" and choose a fabulous Bingo prize? Let's see how many rounds we can play before time's up!

A dinosaur expert from Trailside Museum will join us in the afternoon to teach us all about dinosaurs. The children will become paleontologists and uncover dinosaur bones in our classroom. Following the presentation, they will go digging for dinosaurs in our sandbox. We will wrap up our special event with a dinosaur snack the children will help to create.

Join the Pre-Kindergarten teachers and students for an afternoon of fun, games, and food on the Pre-K playground "Beach" Beach attire (bathing suits, flip flops, towels, hats and sunscreen) encouraged. Winning student will work with the teachers to choose the Rita's Italian Ice flavors served at the party, and winner's family is invited to join in the festivities.

Join Mrs. Mascioli and Mrs. Snyder on a mutually agreed upon day at the end of August to prepare our classrooms for the 2019-2020 school year! You and three friends will create some inspiring themes by decorating the classrooms in a colorful and fun way to welcome your fellow fifth graders on the first day of school! You'll help to prepare cubbies, organize our classroom work spaces, create inspiring bulletin boards, and plan our first week of school activities! We'll start out with a yummy homemade breakfast of your choice - pancakes, waffles or french toast - and then off to work we go! Get ready to roll up your sleeves and help transform our summer classrooms into fun and kid-centered learning environments! Auction winner should be a current 4th grader (incoming 5th grader).
